Story
Naalu started as something very simple. A feeling. A desire to create without starting from scratch.
Living between Goa and Paris shaped the way I see things. Somewhere between simplicity and detail, between raw and refined. India, in its unpredictability, in its intensity, made me feel more, notice more. To see beauty in what is already there. Over time, I started noticing fabrics, colors, pieces carrying already something. Traces of lives, of movement, of time. I was drawn to what had already lived. Already been touched, worn, felt.
Upcycled sarees, marked by hands and by stories.
I didn’t want to create something new, not completely. I wanted to continue something. To extend it. To give it another life.
Naalu is slow. Small batches. Careful choices. Each piece is made one at a time.
More than clothing, it’s a way of seeing differently. A second life.
